Keith Seidel is one of the best instructors in the leather industry.  His experience in so many different saddle shops over the years as he was getting his own leather working knowledge has lent to his skill as a leather instructor.  In addition, having taught many different people in his own saddle shop for 20+ years attests to the fact that he has vast experience in teaching others his vocation. The one thing that makes him a “wealth of knowledge”, is that he has a REASON for doing everything a certain way, because he has tried many different ways to do the same thing.  He is one of those people who strives for thoroughness and perfection in his work, and he will give you that thoroughness in his instruction.  Many makers do things a certain way because “well that’s the way I was taught”.  Not so with Keith.  He also understands, after working with so many different people, that each student understands and learns differently.  So he  has learned how to work around some of those intricacies.

                Some comments from students:
“I just want to express my thanks and appreciation to you for sharing your wealth of information on this subject,  I learned a lot about things that I had not even considered before which will help be do a better job…”
“Thank you for agreeing to teach at Sheridan.  It was, by far, my favorite class of the week, and I had classes every day.  I learned a lot, and hope to put it to use.  I look forward to more in the future!”
“Thank you for taking your time to work with us and caring enough to teach us the right way to do the basics.  Your workshop and your teaching has become the cornerstone for every project I will do from now on.  I tend to be very task oriented if not careful and you reminded me to strive for excellence and “TRY HARDER.”  When’s the next installment?”
Keith can tailor a student’s instruction to be whatever he / she needs it to be.  We guarantee that you will get your money’s worth!  Be prepared to stay late, if need be.
