Single Buscadero Gunrig. The Buscadero is a gunbelt with a dropped holster (lower on the leg).  “Buscadero” originally meant “one who searches” and was applied to lawmen, and then later to the outlaws for whom they searched. The holster is held in place by an horizontal slot at the bottom edge of the gun belt, where the “skirt” or back of the holster is fed through and folds around the slot. A strap and buckle are fed through slots in the skirt and buckled around the holster to keep everything in place. This style was very popular in the Hollywood Cowboy era.
The buckles on this rig are sterling silver by Silver King and are hand engraved. There is the 1 1/2″ Garrison buckle at the belt, and the small 1/2″ buckle at the holster.
This Buscadero Gunrig is in stock and will carry a SAAÂ .45, and will fit a waist of 34-38″.
