This is our daughter Bridget’s Miss Cody Stampede saddle that Keith made for her in 2012 when she held the rodeo queen title in our home town of Cody, Wyoming.
Specs are:Â Seidel “Wildcat” tree, 15 1/4″ seat, 4″ cantle, round wood post horn, regular round skirts, in-skirt rigging, tooled in a basket / flower combination pattern.
This tooling was inspired by Bridget herself—she explained to Keith that she a concept that looked like a crumbling adobe wall, where you could see the brick in places. So Keith drew up this tooling pattern with some floral, and some basket stamping peeking through the floral. Definitely not your “normal” basket / floral combination tooling pattern! Bridget loved it, and still rides it regularly!
