Mokume Gane is a traditional Japanese metalworking technique some three hundred years old. The English translation means wood grain metal or eye of the wood metal, and refers to the elaborate patterns which can be created with the technique. The Mokume gane is the brow band shaped plate behind the silver concho and the green turquoise and showcases an interesting pattern and colors. The Indian head is 18k rose gold in the center of 2 round turquoise stones set in a sterling bezel. The buckle measures 3 1/4″ x 1 3/4″. It takes an 1 1/2″ belt.
