This was a commission (very hush hush at the time) that we did with Justin Boots for their 125th Anniversary. Justin made the boots, and Seidel’s Saddlery did the boot tops and soles, with the INSIDE of the boot tops tooled as well!
The process was interesting, because Justin refused to ship these boots—they brought in the private jet into Cody when we needed to fit things before we could go further. We did as much as we could, but I think they ended up flying in 2 or 3 times before the boots were done.
The boot tops are SEAMLESS—well there is a seam, but it is invisible! Trade secret! 🙂
It was a pretty cool project to be involved in!
